Adding Widgets

The Asset Dashboard tab displays widgets that have been created by admins under Site Configuration.

To add a widget to the asset dashboard, select the Add/Remove Widget button.

A list of widgets becomes available based upon the asset type the widget was created for. Select the desired widget to display by checking the box next to the name.

The selected widgets appear on the dashboard once saved.

Rearranging Widgets

Widgets can be adjusted or moved around within the dashboard. The arrangement of widgets is user based and does not affect another user's view.

Clicking the arrow at the bottom right of each widget will allow the user to adjust the size. The arrow can be used to make the widget window wider, taller, skinnier, or smaller.

Clicking anywhere within the widget itself and holding down on the mouse will allow the user to drag the widget to a new position on the dashboard. Users can move the widget up, down, and side to side.

Removing Widgets

To remove a widget, select the Add/Remove Widget button.

A list of widgets becomes available based upon the asset type the widget was created for. Widgets that have a check mark next to their name are already displayed on the asset dashboard. Uncheck the box next to the widget name that is desired to be removed.

The selected widgets will be removed from the dashboard once saved.

If users would like the asset dashboard to be the tab that loads when accessing an asset instead of the asset Quick View tab, update the setting for "Asset Detail Default Tab" in My Preferences under the Main tab.
